Shanaya Patel joined KMT as a Paralegal in 2026 and works across a broad range of matters, with a particular interest in private client work and matters involving individuals and their families.

Shanaya graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, before completing her LLM at BPP University, where she graduated with Distinction. Her academic background in Philosophy developed her ability to approach complex issues critically, consider different perspectives and apply clear and considered reasoning to her legal work.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Shanaya spent three years at The Arts Club in London. Working closely with high-net-worth and international clients gave her valuable experience in building trusted client relationships, handling sensitive matters with discretion and exercising sound judgement. She brings this client-focused experience to her legal work at KMT.

Outside of work, Shanaya is a keen baker, finding creativity and relaxation in the kitchen. She has a particular interest in culture, art and design, and enjoys discovering thoughtfully curated restaurants, hotels, galleries and wellbeing experiences. She is happiest in the snow-covered mountains, where she enjoys skiing and spending time outdoors.
