The basis of charging our legal fees is hourly rates which typically range from £150 to £500 plus VAT depending on the level of Fee Earners involved. The usual estimated costs for many cases are as follows:

Defending unfair dismissal claims:

£7,500 to £50,000 in terms of fixed fees

Preparation of Settlement Agreement for termination of General Employee:

£750 to £1,000

Preparation of Settlement Agreement for termination of Senior Employee or Director:

£1,500 to £10,000

Disbursements

Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as court fees. We take money on account so as to handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure that third parties are paid.

Hourly rates exclude VAT; our legal fees and disbursements are subject to 20% VAT
