Founding & Managing Partner 

Marc Traube is a founding and managing partner of KMT Law LLP and Head of the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice. He is an experienced commercial litigator and corporate lawyer, advising businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and high-net-worth individuals on complex disputes, significant transactions and commercially sensitive matters in the UK and internationally.

Marc has extensive experience in high-value commercial litigation, including complex and multi-jurisdictional disputes before the High Court, County Court and in international arbitration under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). His practice encompasses contractual, shareholder, corporate and commercial disputes, as well as construction and property-related claims. He is regularly instructed in matters where the financial or strategic stakes are substantial, combining rigorous legal analysis with a pragmatic, commercially focused approach.

Alongside his disputes practice, Marc advises on acquisitions and disposals, investments, corporate structuring and governance, and significant commercial transactions. His experience includes acquisitions of substantial businesses and high-profile assets across the sports, leisure, gaming and hospitality sectors.

Marc also has particular expertise in payments and financial services. He advises payment institutions, electronic money institutions, fintech businesses and other market participants on regulatory and commercial matters, including FCA-related matters and the establishment and operation of payment-services businesses. He has also successfully acted for businesses and individuals in complex matters involving substantial funds withheld, restricted or frozen by payment service providers and financial intermediaries.

As managing partner, Marc plays a central role in the strategic direction of KMT Law LLP. His background in business enables him to approach legal issues with a clear understanding of his clients’ wider commercial objectives.

Born and raised in Paris, Marc acts for clients across the UK, Europe and internationally. He is fluent in English, French and Hebrew. Outside the office, he is a committed sports and fitness enthusiast.
