Liam Schaechter is a paralegal at KMT. He joined the firm in 2024.

Liam assists on a broad range of legal matters with a particular focus on Commercial/Corporate work and Dispute Resolution. 

Liam implements his strong academic track record in Alternative Dispute Resolution and commercial subjects, in his day-to-day work and is acclaimed for his comprehensive argumentation and drafting skills in litigious and corporate matters. Liam assists in various Dispute Resolution cases including commercial disputes involving defamation, corporate theft, and Intellectual Property infringements as well as Real Estate disputes regarding property mismanagement and landlord-tenant cases. He also undertakes extensive work in the firm’s Corporate matters including advising and drafting on contracts such as shareholder agreements. 

Liam graduated with First Class Honours in LLB Law from City, University of London which led to his nomination and delivery of the valedictorian speech at the graduation ceremony. During his time at City, he achieved numerous accolades including awards for achieving the highest grades in several modules and mooting success in the UK Supreme Court.

Liam is tenacious, commercially minded and prides himself in being a problem solver who thrives on finding out-of-the-box solutions.

Liam is a culinary enthusiast, having demonstrated his craft as a part-time Sushi Chef alongside his legal studies at University. He also enjoys skiing, football, and tennis amongst other sports. Additionally, he is also an avid chess player and has a particular appreciation for theological and philosophical books.

Liam is fluent in English, German, Hebrew and Yiddish.
