- About Lana Mahmoud
Lana joined the firm in 2025 as part of the Real Estate and Commercial Department. Having previously worked within the North London residential property market, she has developed a strong understanding of the practical issues that can arise during property transactions, and the key matters clients should be aware of throughout the process.
Lana works on a wide range of residential conveyancing matters and is also heavily involved in commercial real estate transactions, including the sale and purchase of premises and development sites, leases, charges, and lease extensions. She acts for landlords, tenants, developers, and private clients across a broad range of commercial and residential property matters. Her commercial awareness and attention to detail enable her to identify potential issues at an early stage while always keeping her clients’ best interests at the forefront.
Lana obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Chemistry from King’s College London before completing her law conversion course at King’s College London. She hopes to qualify as a solicitor in 2027.
In her free time, Lana enjoys cultural literature and travelling. She is fluent in English and Kurdish and has a basic understanding of Arabic and Spanish.
Her property work includes the following:
– Acting for landlords and tenants on commercial leases
– Lease renewals and associated licence work
– Real estate matters involving commercial, residential, and development property
